Anywho, I LOVE God with all my heart, yes ladies...ALL MY HEART!!! He is my everything. I am dependant on Him alone. He gave me my best friend as a blessing. I already got eternal life coming in Heaven through J. Christ, and He still supplies my EVERY need and then some. He mos def makes some dope blessings doesn't He? If I'm not learning more about Christ, hiding His word (the Bible) in my heart so I don't sin against Him, then...OH WAIT!!! That's what my life consists of (Don't get me wrong I am by NO!!! means perfect, but I try my hardest with the freedom God gives me to follow His commands, empowered by the Holy Spirit; after all I'm just a sinner saved by grace![Ephesians 2:8 & 9])! Anywho, in my spare time for Solo Christo, I spit Christ on mics whose style is twice as nice. Word Life. In other words I try to write a lyrical representation of Christ in the form of rhyme and then practice it in the art of spoken word (aka spitting or EmCeeing: I am an aspiring artist meaning I am still sharpening my skills). I try to make sure I open each day with my wonderful Redeemer by starting with prayer, reading devotions, and then also finishing in prayer. I try to continue all day in prayer also as I go throughout my daily tasks whether at work, or just chilling on a day off or keeping the Saboth holy. As a Christian, you can never pray too much. It says in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18, "Rejoice ALWAYS; PRAY WITHOUT CEASING; in EVERYTHING give thanks; for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus" (NASB). It is important not just to speak your thoughts, but to listen to Christ as well. How do you do this you ask? Just during prayer take a moment of silence to overlook the scripture you have read in the past and present and keep reading the scripture everyday. God speaks to us through His Holy Word, The Bible. Eventually He puts it in our heart with the help of the Holy Spirit and thats how we know what we should and shouldn't do. Picture this: is it not a pitiful relationship if you are the only one who speaks and never gives the companion (in this case your SAVIOUR!!!) a chance to have you listen? That is what a "relationship" with Christ is all about (It's kinda like them Motorola Two-Way pagers, both give and receive messages).

It is true that it's not all about religion, rather a relationship with Christ, but you must remember, in the light of scripture we find that the word "religion" (taken from the latin phrase "relegere", basically meaning to re-read, repeat, and observe carefully) explains the relation in which man stands next to God. In the Old Testament religion is represented as "fear of the Lord (YAHWEH)" which is the reverent regard for God, mixed with awe, and it includes the fear of disobedience or fear of punishment for disobedience. In the New Testament mankind's fear is converted to the form of faith (also other terms like "godliness", 1 Timothy 2:10; or godly fear , Hebrews 5:7). God showed Himself to mankind and His "self-revelation" determined the worship and service (religion) that would be good and pleasing in His sight. Basically without religion, man wouldn't have received the relationship...just as without the relationship, we wouldn't have religion.
